William Moseley's Acting Background:

Moseley's dream of being an actor took a major step forward when he was just an enthusiastic 10-year-old kid. Pippa Hall, a casting director for Cider with Rosie, stopped by his school and although Moseley didn't nab a role in that film, Hall did keep the aspiring actor in mind when other films were being cast. In fact it was Hall's partner, Gail Stevens, who hired Moseley for his first professional acting job. Stevens cast him in Goodbye, Mr Chips, a 2002 telefilm.
In 2004, Moseley beat out 3,000 young actors to land the coveted role of Peter in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Commenting on his casting, director Andrew Adamson said, "When we cast William as Peter, he was just 15 and had never done anything like this before." Moseley reprised his role in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, also directed by Adamson. "William's transformation was not dissimilar to that of his character, Peter, in the story, from this 17-year-old boy into a young man. I don’t think he’d even been on a movie set before. He was just this really great kid you wanted to be your big brother. And now, William has turned out to be a handsome and capable young man," said Adamson about Moseley's transformation over the course of the first two Narnia adventures.
